Best debt management/advice companies

Just as the title says really. Got myself in a real pickle (to the tune of about 15k) and it's time to sort it all out. Any advice is appreciated I've been reading all of your money saving tips as I've hit rock bottom and I'm trying to claw back every penny. Thanks for reading.

Stepchange. They're a charity so it's free and they'll go through all your options, not just debt management plans. Avoid the fee-charging DMP companies like the plague.
You can call them or I think you can get advice online through their website.

I agree with FlappyRose - use a charity (Stepchange, Christians Against Poverty). You want all your money to be paying off the debt not paying the company's (substantial) fees. These cos have also been known to go bust and people have lost their money.

Also,get yourself over to the Debt Free Wannabe board on moneysavingexpert.com. There are loads of people on there who've been there,done that and got a really great bargain on the t-shirt.

Stepchange. Did a debt management plan with them. Got me back on track. Debt free now thanks to a windfall. You can do this. :)

Thank you all. I called them today and made a plan. Some what helpful but eviction is still looming more calls tomorrow to CAB and shelter.

I'm sorry to hear that. Well done on taking the first step though. Hopefully CAB or Shelter will be able to help with the housing situation.
