how much do u spend on food pw gas and elec just to compare plse we are a low income family 2 adults one teen.

Energy is £35 a month and food £160. Only us two thoughts.

Teens aren't cheap to feed.

Two adults and one teen. £45-50 pw on food. Gas and electricity on DD, presently £49 monthly.

is that 49 each??? im trying to be carefull gas and elec at ten pounds p[w each and food 60 pw didn't know if that's ok struggle on 60 pw food

2 adults, 1 child. about £100-120 a week, we buy organic meat and don't exactly scrimp on food. I know we could cut back dramatically if we needed to.

About £100 a week on food (including household stuff ) sometimes more if DP buys expensive cuts of meat or seafood. That's for 2 adults and 3 children .

£60 a week - 2 adults 1 baby including £13 on formula.

£100 a week on groceries including nappies toiletries etc

Energy £125 a month (big house)

2 of us and 2 cats - dual fuel bill is £52 a month, food is approx £40-£50 a week. Never over £50.

Gas is £9 a week and electric is £11. We are in a large two bed(its more the size of a three bed) semi, it's a newish build (7 years old). I think that's pretty good as we are home during the day and i always have the heating on in the cold months.

Food we spend about £70 pw, i do shop in Waitrose so i don't think that's bad. 2 adults, 3 little kids (7,4,2)

£90. / month gas & elec. Food is £120 including wine x 2. 3 adult ( giant 17ds ) I buy local butcher meat, lidl & m&s. I buy basic tomatoes puree etc from lidl to indulge in the other shops, but only buy what we need.

Sorry I wasn't clear, it's £49 for both. We've been paying £47 until recently but have just reviewed costs with EDF and it'll now be £49 which I think is about right for us.

£40-45 on food for 1 adult and 1 teenage boy (so, 2 adults really), but we are vegetarian. On key meters for both gas and electricity. Gas is £20 a week at this time of the year (based on heating on 6.5- 8 hours a day), but £3.50-4 a week in summer, when the heating is off. Electricity works out at £7-8 per week, all year around.

All a bit overlooked but do brands for less or basics really, really cheaply. I've just started doing spice mixes like fajita mix or doner kebab. They are so cheap but taste nicer than what ready made spice mixes.

Clicksnap, checkout smart, topcashback snap n saves and shopitize apps all give money off whatever their promoting or free items. It adds up quickly and dh has an account too so it really helps.

We pay £85 per week for groceries including cleaning products and cat food. There are 2 adults, 4 children aged 14, 11, 8 and 18 months) and £27 per week in energy - direct debit is £109 per month.

Depends what time of the year. Summer gas/ electric is £80 a month, winter it's £200.

You can't always save on food because someone spends less. your budget & spend is relevant to you no one else. I could spend less but don't need or want to at the minute.

Blimey. I don't know how you all keep your food bills so low. I have spent bear £50 for food and that's just me!

I think it must be because I am low carbing and it is a more expensive way to eat. That is mostly veg and only some blueberries! So no spuds, rice or pasta but even so that's a lot. And I Dont drink alcohol!

My fuel is £80 pm. Hoping that will come down a bit now I live alone.

I was wondering this.
Our elec has just gone up to 113 PER MONTH as we are paying to little and gas 84 per month. It happens ever winter then we end up getting a refund in summer
Food was 100 ish per week 2 adults,2 toddlers one fully in nappies and 2 cats. I think this is too much as we waste stuff so trying to get down to 80 ish per week

Roughly £200 pm gas and electricity lately ( looking to switch )
Approx £500 pm on food/toiletries/cleaning products.
2 adults, ds 12, dd 5 and an 18yr old greedy bugger of a cat
No alcohol but dominoes once a month.
