Cheap date night ideas

Just looking for ideas for nights out with DH that don't cost loads. We're in London. Have booked cinema for this weekend at £27 (since when did cinema become so expensive)?! And could prob get a pub dinner / cheap meal out for two nearby for £60.

Any other ideas for fun nights out less than £100 other than just going out for drinks / dinner?

Haha, yes DH would love that. We only get to go out together every couple of months (due to lack of family support / babysitting options) so want to plan some nice things to look forward to. Will look up voucher codes and link above.

If you shop at Tescos, can clubcard vouchers be converted for eating out in London? We found a pub not far from Victoria station a couple of years ago which charged the same as it would in our area, so might be worth investigating the less obvious.

It's great to get out, but we make a point of having something nice to eat on a Saturday, great if you can buy meal deals but you can cook something simple like a stir fry quickly, with a favourite drink and dessert.

We buy our cinema tickets on groupon. 5 for £20 so a real bargain.

Not many exclusions either!

You could a taste card trial for cheap meals out.

Have a look at Science Museum Lates. It's an adults only thing they do once a month with bars, food and all sorts of things going on. It's free to get in.

What about some of the walking tours they do in London. I don't live in London but have done a couple as a tourist. The Jack the Ripper one is particularly good and if memory serves it was only about £5 each

We are rural, we have bonfires and sit outside with a glass of wine.

There isn't a lot of privacy in our house (3 teenagers) so if we have cash left over we book a hotel room rather than a meal out and enjoy the time alone.
