Marking my spot. Haven't posted in a week.
Haven't time to confess now either!

babsmam · 22/04/2015 07:19

11 in lidl yesterday and 3.80 for body combat. Determined to get fit again

PeoniesforMissAnnersley · 22/04/2015 12:58

£13 on another top up shop. Grrr. Will also need to go out after work and buy ingredients for special dinner I am cooking for a friend tomorrow, that will prob be another £15ish.

Had to put 4 work skirts aside as they are now far too small Sad feel like crap for putting on so much weight since my surgery, I think not being able to eat for so long has made me a bit of a glutton now, I can't say no!

sportinguista · 22/04/2015 13:53

Will be an NSD today as using up some filled pasta for tea. A quiet day except for some bits of work coming in a short business meeting and pottering about house. Going to try and make sure tomorrow is an LSD and the weekend should be quiet also.

CremeEggThief · 22/04/2015 15:39

NSD- my first for ages.

SpottyTeacakes · 22/04/2015 15:59

£30 petrol but budgeted for.

girliefriend · 22/04/2015 17:30

£2.20 on parking for work, will claim back.

No other spends, random tea of sausages, scrambled egg and avocado for dd and for me marinated chicken, cous cous and salad!! The chicken needed eating up hence different dinners.

Fluffycloudland77 · 22/04/2015 18:46

£1.25 on beer.

There's a mighty deal offer on topcashback, £10 Tesco voucher for £5 plus 10% cashback.

I'm making a shopping list for Friday so I don't need to spend next week.

Think I'm late paying my credit card, can't find the statement and I had to set up a new payment on my new bank account. I paid £100 on that and I'll ring them tomorrow to see if I'm charged. All my own fault.

I'll have the money to pay off the £400 on it soon, I'm owed £2k from various clients.

I was going to buy new place mats and coasters but I won't now.

Good call girlie, it wasn't hers to keep and the owner might come forward.

I'm buying the bbc gardening mag on Friday, it's offering 2 for 1 garden entries free for a year. The royal horticultural society membership is similar but costs more than £4.25.

Laska42 · 22/04/2015 19:00

NSD!! Finally! (but im 19.03 over budget and theres 8 more days until pay day Sad. Also i have £250 on my credit card ..I can pay this next month ( or this if DS housing benefit comes through in timeas have £300 in savings account )

oh my small bit of frugality today was to freeze 2 pints of milk we had left over from the weekend into ice cube trays before it goes off.. DH and i hardly ever use milk (both black tea and coffee here) but we bought some for visitors who do (then they bought more!) . I do give it to the cat sometimes even though i know you shouldnt really , Anywaythe frozen milk will be their for when we next need some.

I had roasted cauli for tea tonight with lemon and cumin , Yum.. (am 5:2 fasting today)

So I put an application in for a job 10mins away from home and I've been called to interview. The day after I start my new jobBlush eeek

Ordered some bits from George today, delivery pass means no postage and kids needed more uniform as they do insist on keeping on growing! Dds dresses have got a bit indecent. ..ok with tights, not so much with ankle socks! Will buy big so should still fit in Sept.

AuditAngel · 22/04/2015 20:22

£56 on diesel to reclaim from work, £16 on McDonalds for tea, had to pick up kids from school, take DS for £9 haircut, do some work, take DD1 to karate £5 then buy tea on way home.

£15 +£3.95 delivery on a 3 in 1 jacket for DS, he has a school trip in June which he'll need one for, unfortunately couldn't get a cheap black one, so won't do for school next year, but probably wouldn't cover his blazer (school rules) anyway.

SpottyTeacakes · 22/04/2015 20:24

I want to go to toddlers tomorrow but I'm 80p short. So crap. I can't get out £10 just for 80p!

AuditAngel · 22/04/2015 20:26

Pass you will never escape the drafted Peppa Pig theme tune, it drove me mad.

I took DD1 the day before she started school (almost 4 years ago......)

girliefriend · 22/04/2015 20:56

Checked my online account and have had to move more savings across Sad this month has been a disaster!! Think combination of Easter holiday plus paying for the London trip which will be May half term plus car has just really hit the budget hard!!

Really need to sort my line rental out, just got a phone bill (line rental and internet) for £42. Think it is too much considering I rarely ring anyone!! Currently with B.T but considering Sky?

Am going to get a water metre as well I think, the water bill is just crazy.

SpottyTeacakes · 22/04/2015 20:59

Sky was ££££ for us as was bt. Got a good deal with southern electric. Have you tried your own energy providers as they often do deals? If not SSE are still cheap. Also we've not had any slow internet probs like we had with sky.

babsmam · 22/04/2015 21:11

Lsd today 3.80 on an exercise class.
Hoping for the same tomorrow

CremeEggThief · 22/04/2015 21:17

Girlie, I'm with Plusnet, for £18.45 a month. If you pay line rental in advance, you can get it for a few pounds less.

NK5BM3 · 22/04/2015 21:30

Nsd but for £2 for a colleagues present.

Pointlessfan · 22/04/2015 22:01

NSD. Just looked at budget and bank account. I've saved enough to pay off my cc next month, one month before interest free period ends - hooray! That will also mean I can cancel the standing order for the minimum payment each month.
Payday on Tuesday too.

TeWiSavesTheDay · 22/04/2015 22:06

LSD - 1.30 on international stamp.

babsmam · 23/04/2015 06:16

Thanks for the gardeners world tip fluffy. Wil see if they still do Eden as off to Cornwall in the summer.
Was looking for Aldi voucher but it must be next Thursday.
Should be a lsd today £4 for Pilates

PeoniesforMissAnnersley · 23/04/2015 07:39

Girlie We are with EE, we paid a line rental up front (it was £112 irrc) and now pay £7.50 a month for phone and broadband, with unlimited weekend and evening calls and free minutes to call 0845 numbers. We haven't been charged more than the 7.50 in 5 months since we joined.

openthecurtains · 23/04/2015 07:51

It is Aldi voucher day today (4th Thursday of month) but The Mirror only has Aldi vouchers for particular items today, not the £5 off voucher. Bit miffed as I've been holding off on shopping for a couple of days as I was waiting for the voucher. Vouchers are (according to MSE):

50% Off Premium Washing Up Liquid - Now 39p
50% Off Mamia Apples,Carrots,Parsnips 120g - Now 29p
50% Off Mamia Just Apples 5X90g - Now 89p
30% Off Scotch Eggs - Now 43p
30% Off Spreadable Butter - Now £1.04p
30% Off Ham Joint Roasted/Breaded - Now £2.09p
30% Off Roast Chicken Drumsticks or Thighs - Now £1.39p
30% Off Specially Selected 4 Quarter Pounders Now £1.39p
30% Off Meat free Burgers - Now £1.04
30% Off Premium Fabric Conditioner - Now 90p

I won't buy the Mirror today as those aren't on items I use. Hope the £5 voucher is back next month!

Fluffycloudland77 · 23/04/2015 07:51

We're with plusnet, there was a really good cashback offer on quidco so even with fuels leaving fee/fine it worked out at £60 over the year.

I'd avoid talk talk, they used to be tiscali. Horrible customer service and rubbish Internet.

We never use the phone though, I use "saynoto0870" to find a free landline number and use the minutes on my mobile.

Aldi vouchers in the mirror today but no £5 off voucher. It's not the last Thursday though. I hope they haven't stopped doing that voucher.

Babs, pretty sure the Eden project is included, as is Kew.
