Just realised I've missed loads off that, home insurance etc, but you get the gist!

softlysoftly · 14/01/2015 16:43

Seeing PPs 1 bed flat rent and childcare in London Shock . You must earn a fair whack and to still love in a 1 bed on that with 2 kids?!!

girliefriend · 15/01/2015 22:06

I'm south west and am Shock at how much rent and outgoings are in other areas.

My total direct debits which includes rent, council tax, water, gas and electric, insurances, phone, tv, childcare (one child in school), comes to about £700 a month.

Food/toilteries approx £160 a month
Petrol £100 a month.

Savings £150 a month.

annielostit · 16/01/2015 06:50

I'm not sure that the rents prices that are aShock, its some of the £50 for mobiles a month. My bill was £15 this month and though bloody hell that's loads. Our food bill is sneaking up a bit. We've been lucky that never had to pay childcare.

WiltshireGirl · 16/01/2015 16:33

I live in one bed flat.

Council tax - don't pay

Water - £12.00

Gas - £45

Elec - £25

TV - £12.12

Internet/phone - £30-50

Mobile - £17.50 (if they don't catch me out, which can happen)

Food - £20 per week

Home insurance £13.92

I'm always worrying about money.
