Housing worries/issues are such a major pain. I am sending huge good luck vibes to you all that they are sorted out soon.

Postage was £2.60 so I think I can happily put that on DH's tab so...slightly stretching it...am having a NSD WinkGrin.

Will be spending tomorrow - need a bottle brush (so I can add extra vigour in cleaning it) Grin

Fluffy I hope you and confused get things sorted quickly.

OH has been back to the local council offices about tax and the proper certificates etc. Having asked them to confirm umpteen times they have now said the council tax quoted was wrong and we have to pay the revised amount from day 1. I'm not sure how much it is but I'm not surprised. Still no word from the people who liked the house.

Haven't spent anything yet, apparently OH thought he'd given me cash on Sunday, he noticed a lack of the things he likes.

We had a nice evening out yesterday, freebie too. Cocktail party for a new car launch and got goody bags so we now have some lovely chocolates. Nacth the men's bags had car related things too, what with this being such a sexist society.

Hope all property hells turn into property heavens soon..

Spent £3.50 on ice creams today - all the other kids were having one so could leave mine out. Will probably be the same on Friday as "borrowing" a couple of extra children for the day and meeting up with same group of friends again so estimating £8 spending...

Tomorrow need fuel plus finally get to the post office. DH has run out of hi-juice so will need a couple of bottles. Ds2 is trying out an athletics club so that's another £3 (or £6 if ds1 joins in..).

Another NSD. Because I've been sick. Hmm Felt rubbish last night, couldn't sleep. Turns out to be a stomach bug. Dh also has it but has somewhat recovered. Dd got it and got sent home from nursery. She's happily eating noodles now though so maybe it's over for her now. I on the other hand am still feeling rubbish.

The work thing - boss told me that my job role is going to be advertised but at a higher level. Yay. But it means ill have to interview. Worse is if I have to compete against externals!!! Argh!

Having a good week spending wise. Using up all the fresh food well before we go away. No surrender to meals out or takeaway here!
Have worked longer hours than usual today as I'm trying to get up to date before going away. At least, as we're short staffed at the moment, there is a budget for extra hours so I will get paid for it. But, although the money is very welcome I'm looking forward to being fully staffed and not always being under so much pressure.

Hope all of you get your housing issues solved soon.

Good luck with the job takeaway

£1 spent on Tuesday - took my boys to a local community event at a park where they did lots of running around, some crafts and a turn each on the bouncy castle.
£4 spent today at the woods Pirate activity day. Great day exploring with treasure maps, walking planks, pond skimming and stream splashing :)

DS2 is 2 tomorrow and we're going to the zoo. Have got 'child goes free with adult' vouchers, so DH and I shall queue and pay separately, saving £19! My parents are coming too, so I'm providing the picnic and they'll buy the coffees/ice-creams.
Will stop at a pub with large soft play on the way home for dinner, so should be about £50 for the day.but we've bought DS2 buggar all so it all balances out!

Good luck takeaway, and likewise I wish everyone stuck in property hell a swift and prosperous exit Grin

Fluffy my £40 shop was at Morrisons (wanted to go to Lidl but they shut at 8pm, I was gutted!) 40 squid at Morrisons really doesn't buy you very much but we didn't need very much this week, the beauty of having done an £85 Lidl trip last week :)

NSD today, hung out with my cousin in law and her kids, was lovely :)

Spent £55 on groceries and chicken bits for dogs, ugly bits of wing at £3 for 2 kilos so not exactly splashing out on them. I want To get them accustomed To raw food before move them so I don't have To faff about while getting used To a 'new' place all over again. We have decided not To keep the puppies. OH can't admit he made a mistake doesn't have time for them and I can't manage all 4 with 2DCs all on me tod if we do sell and move.

Glad a good NSD was had with the cousin-in-law.

Hope the you have a good day at the zoo tomorrow.

£1.60 on muffin for DS post swim.

Will be spendy tonight as am going out with my friend for sushi. DS majorly peeved as he loves sushi but have promised him I'll bring him some home. I don't go out much so this is a nice treat.

DH, on the other hand, seems to be spending up a storm HmmConfused.

I was a nurse years ago Fluffy. This job is back in healthcare but not in the NHS. It is to do with care standards though which is something I'm passionate about.

Nothing spent yet but I need to top the car up, but not full today. Vet and dog food bills are about to get cheaper, puppies are going back to the vet/breeder to see if he can rehome themSad. We now can't keep them inside our plot despite 5 foot high fencing told OH it's not high enough, Houdini comes and goes as she pleases, the others follow her and OH still doesn't have time to care for the dogs he bought, so this isn't the best home for them.

Good luck Helena and am v envious of your sushi treat!!! I love sushi. But I shall be enjoying lots of yummy food when I go on holiday next Friday for two weeks. Can't wait.

Another NSD which is my 3rd or so? Still recovering from dodgy tummy. Dd not in nursery today so dh and I took turns to watch her. Made meatballs tonight from mince which was really yummy. Was surprised DS ate it all as it had things like curry powder and cumin in it but he did! Maybe it was coz he helped to roll the meat balls!!!

Trying to eat out the freezer now so dh bought some milk and washing powder and stuff from aldi but that was it. No other perishables!

Sad news about the puppies, Adora but it's good you're doing what's best for them.

Takeaway sounds like you have the same bug my DH had, he didn't eat properly for a week Sad Hope you get well soon.

Only spent just under £10 today in Tesco for juice, carrots, birthday card for my mum, fish for tonight's dinner & sandwiches for a picnic. Plus £30 on diesel.

Tomorrow should be an NSD, have friend coming here in the morning, then need to spend afternoon tidying as my parents will be home from their holiday tomorrow evening.

Thanks for the link Allthings I had seen this in my store but had forgotten. That's tomorrow afternoon sorted!

Sad news about the puppies Adora but probably for the best.
Good luck Helena

DS2's Birthday today, so spent £26 on zoo entry and £4 on drinks (took some but it was v. hot)
Payday for me tomorrow (get paid 4 weekly, so gets rather confusing!) so need to do 4 week grocery shop in Aldi, also need to collect some Facebook purchases for a friend (she will reimburse next week) and got some Argos bargains to collect and stash away for Xmas. Probably be about £200 on all that, then also need to order a new chicken coop tomorrow so another £200 there too Shock Oh well, guess we can't take it with us! Grin

Adora, sorry to hear about the pups. As daisy says - really hard to do but, in all likelihood, the best thing to do. Does your DH get that he bought in haste?

Aiming for NSD today. Went to gym this morning - membership is present from DH (Smile). It was tough but I thoroughly enjoyed it - I have a significant amount of weight to lose and am the start of my 'journey' but as DS was still fast asleep when I left I managed to avoid the "muffin after swim" spend.

No plans to spend anything today but planned spends include getting DS's school blazer dry cleaned ready for the start of term. Also heading off to see SIL next week so there will be some spends there + diesel.

DH thinks we may be able to get a few days away before term starts - I would rather wait and go away at Christmas - it means I have more time to lose weight/get fitter, it means we can save for a good holiday and it also means I get to spend Christmas on a beach ... what's not to like???
