It's worth knowing the cheapies that aren't nice enough to justify the cost saving...

For example

IMO Tesco's Value frozen peas are only good for soup. I find them too hard and powdery to really cut it with my bangers...

Economy bin bags,

I have banned them from entering the house on the grounds they split before the rubbish leaves the houseAngry

Also we use twice as many because they are too small. Normal bin bags hang over the kitchen bin, when you pull them out there's room to empty bathroom and or DDs bins in as well before tying it up and taking it out.

Most cheap pasta sauces, the Tesco's cheap odd brand one is unless, the same make of pesto is nice.

Decent ones are often on offer you just have to be patient.
Tesco's value tomatoes are much more reliable than ASDA's which are sometimes not ripe.

Lidl W5 Mountain Fresh air freshener is yuk. Disgusting chemical smell that made me open all the windows before throwing it away. Its about 50p.

However the same brand W5 orange washing up liquid is lovely and smells great.

Also, the Aldi 59p air freshener in citrus is wonderful and far better than more expensive brands. I must have lulled me into a false sense of security when I entered Lidl...

Tesco basics babywipes.

I only use them for random cleaning jobs, but the Sainsbury's ones are much better.

Would never put one near a baby's bottom.
