lidls were ok when i was skint
asda and tesco s too

I work in a day nursery, so see a lot of nappy brands. Mamia ( I think Aldi) are good as big brands and popular at my nursery. You can often get nappies cheaper in bulk online.

Tesco are equally as good as pampers and hugged IMO. Asda and Aldi are ok.

jamandposterpaint · 26/10/2011 08:47

That would be 'Huggies', obviously. Damn autocorrect ...

Big vote for Lidl/Aldi nappies here.

My DS had a nasty food allergy that went diagnosed for a long time. Those nappies were tested to the max! Grin

smackapacca · 26/10/2011 19:50

undiagnosed food allergy!

moodymary · 26/10/2011 19:53

I often use Sainsburys own brand of nappies, and Boots too. In my opinion, either are as good as Pampers or Huggies.

FreddieMercurysBolero · 26/10/2011 19:56

Own brand good, basics bad. I 've used tesco, they're grand, lidl are good, but they don't do half sizes, tesco value were shite.

Liskey · 26/10/2011 19:56

Another vote for Aldi or Lidl nappies

Moodykat · 26/10/2011 19:57

Tesco value are shite! Tesco value pullups though are great!

Never buy own brands because "per nappy" quite often, if you wait for the deals to be on the branded ones work out cheaper. I only ever buy nappy's when they're on sale then stock up. Same with baby wipes - I get some odd looks from other shoppers. :)
