Still testing positive, but faintly, two weeks in. Is there anything I can do to boost my energy levels and speed up recovery?

Rest. That's all you can do.

As someone who has LC don’t try to speed up anything. It may well backfire. Rest as much as possible.

Agree with pp. There is nothing you can or should do to speed up recovery. Long COVID is real. My partner has had it since 2020.

Thank you all. Resting and adjusting expectations seem to be key. I was wondering whether I needed more fresh fruit and veg, or to drink more water or counterintuitive maybe but more exercise?

It's tempting to try and 'shake it off' with exercise - but all I've read with covid is that you should test and do risk triggering long covid by over exertion when still ill.

Completely agree - rest, rest and more rest.

I first got Covid in March 2020. Got back on the treadmill as soon as I felt better. In retrospect it's probably the worst thing I could have done.

Have had long Covid ever since. It's not worth the risk.

Long Covid does not sound good. I’m so sorry that happened to you. That is rotten luck.

I still don’t feel right but I’m taking it easy, virtually no danger of over exertion here.

I read something somewhere about some cases of long covid potentially being caused by an overly enthusiastic immune response to the infection, for example the immune system attacking the pancreas and causing diabetes.
