Are the old bivalent vaccines still being used?

Had a booster jab yesterday at a local (UK) pharmacists, and was handed a sheet afterwards saying I’d had the Pfizer BA4-5 bivalent vaccine. I thought they had stopped using that one and were using the updated XBB one now instead? My NHS app shows the batch number as HG2292 but I don’t know if there’s any way of telling from that which one I’ve been given. Any ideas please?

It's an XBB one according to Reddit when I googled (no idea if that is correct of course!)

Thanks yes I saw that but likewise no idea how reliable it is (and I don’t understand Reddit!)

The last two I've had (most recently October) were Pfizer.

Yes this is the old one. They are using up old stock before offering the newer one (Cominaty omicron xbb.1.5) although some areas are already offering it.

What you’ve had will still offer good protection though as the variant they thought would take hold and the newer Cominaty omicron xbb.1.5 vaccine is based on has not become the dominant strain like they thought!
