Covid in 2 and a half year old - food ideas

Hi everyone, my 2 and a half year old has Covid (before anyone jumps on me for testing, a GP suggested it as we couldn't figure out why she'd had a fever for a few days and had stopped drinking, as there was no other obvious cause! I also swabbed a tissue I'd used on her, so no stress caused to her or me!).

Anyway, I can barley get her to eat anything. She's taking fluids now, but not as much. Any suggestions for food other than ice lollies and yoghurt? She'll have those, but not finish them. I've asked her what she wants, but she's not great yet at answering questions, so I'm not getting very far with it.

Thank you!

One of mine goes off food as soon as he’s ill, it’s hard work. Stuff that works for us:

Leave a few bottles with squash in around the house
Keep some fruit in grabbing distance so they can wander and have some
Soup
Crackers & Philly

and sometimes - when all else fails - baby pouches!

DS1 was quite a lot older, but lived on tomato soup, Fanta, hot chocolate and ice cream when he had covid.

But he's so skinny, basically anything went, and he knew it would be back to proper food once better.

Thanks @CatsOnTheChair and @RockAndRollerskate

Poor thing is so lethargic and out of sorts. @RockAndRollerskate I like the idea of leaving little things around for her to try, thank you.

@CatsOnTheChair good to know your DS got through it just by eating certain things! Eating anything when you can't face it is good!
