I've been referred after ruling out many other possibilities. I've been unwell for 22 months.
Just wondering what to expect as it sounds quite full on from what my GP said this morning.
Thanks

Yes, I do. It's not full on from what I've had so far. I've had two appointments one was a fact finding and the next was about diet/routine.

I was offered group sessions or one to one. I understand the benefit of group sessions however due to my job I asked for individual appointments.

It depends what your symptoms are, if it's breathing I can't comment as my issues are mainly fatigue and brain fog.

Yes. First was fact finding. Second was with a physio - see how BP changes, see how many 'circuits' you can do. Some advice on pacing. Breathing exercises. They don't think there's much they can do for LC. I'd already had to stop work by the time I was seen and can't really drop anything else - have stopped everything. They are referring me for sleep apnoea test and have done some bloods. It's more to try to rule out any peripheral issues that can be managed. Mine is open two days a week. They will suggest things to GP too.

They also give me a series of questionnaires to assess mobility, breathlessness, depression etc. I'm sure this ticks a research box somewhere, but it's hard with symptoms that fluctuate within the day and between days on an inconsistent severity basis. It doesn't really account for how many times a day you can do activity x/y/z for, how long for, what you have to 'sacrifice' to do that 'activity' for, or how much of a day does symptom a/b/c affect you for etc.

Not me but my hubby.
1st was a fact finding phone call appointment.
Now being referred to cardiology, and has an appointment for some tests with cardio respiratory.
Long drawn out process so far, but hopefully something can be done for his lungs, fatigue etc.
