So I currently have covid. I'm 5 days after I first tested positive. I know the rules say to stay home for 5 days so I have but I just tested again to check I'm clear and I'm not. Now I know that means I'm still infectious so I'm not planning on going anywhere indoors with other people or anything but will probably go out for a walk later and try and stay away from others. My question though is, the line took longer to show up than when I last tested. Also it was a bit fainter. Does that mean the levels of virus detected are lower? Ie that I should be clear soon? It does, right? I definitely feel a lot better too.
Also is my chance of passing it onto my family at home a bit lower now than it was at first? We haven't really isolated. I've tried to avoid getting too close, sat at the other end of the table or on a different sofa but we've been in the same room together most of the time with a window open. If they're not sick yet have they likley avoided it? We have an elderly family member's BIG birthday dinner next weekend and I'm really hoping we'll all be able to go (we will obviously ALL test beforehand given recent covid here)
Any thoughts much appreciated. Thank you
