DM and I both tested positive last Saturday.

We're pretty sure she infected me ie: we've had the same strain.
I tested negative on Thursday and, apart from being a bit tired still, feel fine.
DM is still testing positive. She lives alone and is really bored!

Am I immune to her? I've been visiting to take the dog out, but lurking in the porch.

If you’ve both got the same strain of covid at the same time I don’t see any reason not to hang out with her inside, you can’t infect her with covid if she already has it, I would think. But I’m not a biochemist 🤷‍♀️

You can carry on testing positive for weeks after contracting Covid. You're supposedly most infectious for the first 5-6 days. You can't re infect her (or her you) if you both already have Covid. There was no need to stay away.

@Knoblauch that is what I was thinking. I just don't want to get it again so soon!

Although I will change my clothes in the garage when I get home, so I don't bring anything in to dh and the dc.
