A poster in another thread mentioned her partner is having trouble getting it up. Researchers have said erectile dysfunction is common post covid. It's not something people bring up in polite conversation, but is it something others have experienced?

I haven't had covid as far as I know, so wondering how common it is/worried I should be.

I've only heard it in reference to research and known after effects, but I guess it's something that not many people mention to friends etc.

Sunshineguy · 30/10/2022 13:44

Thanks. Have seen a few articles about it but trying to gauge if it's a real concern because no one talks about it.

I've not heard it but lots of woman have had their periods and cycles effected so I guess it could affect mens hormones and erections too as it seems a very multi systematic illness.

The Vaccines affected my cycles, not covid itself

Sunshineguy · 31/10/2022 18:37

Interesting. Sorry to hear that.

Well since covid is known to affect the lining of blood vessels, it makes sense it could have adverse effects.

Hell just the spike protein can cause myocardia and effect women's cycles. The full virus can do worse.

Why would you be concerned about it? Of all the things that you could worry about from any illness - why would you be worried about that?

I had bacterial pneumonia last year, between the illness and the meds, I had all sorts of issues including nothing working right downstairs.
