Covid + and dizzy

Tested positive on Saturday, the temp and aches have gone but the dizziness/lightheaded is a whole new level.

if I’m lying down I’m fine but the minute I sit up off it goes. My legs feel like jelly and I have no energy.

I know it’s still very early days but someone please tell me this goes away fast. This is the first time that I’ve actually had a positive test, though did feel like this back in March where I spent 4 days in bed just never got a positive test back then

I had this really badly around day 4 & 5 along with racing heart, it’s still not 100% but soo much better now (1 week, testing negative as of today)

I had this day 4 and 5. Took me a couple of weeks to get fully over it and needed a walking stick for support

I felt like this for 4/5 days (days 1 & 2 in bed asleep) then crappy laid on the sofa for the rest. It took me about 4 weeks to get back up to speed though- don't underestimate it! You need to rest as much as you can. 'Normal flu' 10 x worse though- 1 week in bed hallucinating/ 3 weeks on sofa. People who say they have a 'touch of flu' on a Monday morning are having a laugh!

Day 15 tested negative on day 13. Still struggling with the dizziness, fatigue, racing heart, shakiness, jelly legs and weirdly, anxiety, just not functioning well in general.
I have never taken this long to get over anything, including “ real flu “ I had 20 years ago which left me asthmatic.
Don’t know when I’ll get back to work, probably be sacked before I get there. On my third week off now can’t see me getting there next week either.

I'm on my 11th day and feel like this; but I had 3 days of really bad vomiting and the runs. Does anyone know what we/the doctors can do to help? Would iron maybe help? Whenever I've been this dizzy I've been low in iron. I do take a supplement already but wondering if we could do with a boost... What else? Gentle hugs to all who are going through this; I thought I'd escaped it, stupidly! Had my 4th booster 4 weeks ago and was too complacent :(

I had this for a while after covid, particularly when I was walking fast. All fine now.

I felt dizzy and nauseous with covid a few weeks ago, along with a persistent headache. In desperation I took some travel sickness tablets (Sturgeron) which I think really helped. They have got one of the old-style antihistamines in them, and I think it relieved my sinuses.

Sorry to hear so many of us have had the same.

im on day 5/6 now and the dizziness is still there, upset stomach to go alongside now also 😩 the lack of energy is wow just a simple walk to get a drink and I need another sit down. I’m not sure if the anxiety is playing a large part in this aswell as it seems never ending.

There have been a lot of tears this week and I’m just so down and fed up with it all. Dd has tested positive now despite our best efforts.
