Due to travel home from Calais on the shuttle in the morning, and tested bloody positive for covid this evening.

No idea what the hell I am going to do!

What made you test?

Couldnothappenlater · 19/08/2022 23:47

Had a very scratchy throat and runny nose come on all of a sudden. I so wish i hadn't tested, but glad I did. Can't sort anything out this time of night and no idea what to do.

Travel home. Wear a mask. Try to keep your distance.
Countless others will have it but won't have tested. It's not ideal but what are your options otherwise?

I haven't kept up with all the rules, but assuming you're allowed to travel with it, I would, taking all possible precautions.

Couldnothappenlater · 19/08/2022 23:57

@Theimpossiblegirl this is what we are considering. Luckily we are driving and going on the Shuttle so can stay in the car away from everyone.

If you can stay in the car I'd travel back, wear a mask if you have to pop to the loo or anything.

Couldnothappenlater · 20/08/2022 17:28

@Jules912 this is what we done. Had the windows open in the car and had two masks on, antibac wipes and hand gel. I stayed in the car if we stopped at services. Literally haven't been close to or been within spitting distance of another person x
