Just that really, can my mum take D12 for her 2nd vaccine, or does it need to be a parent? Can't recall if anything needs to be signed by parent or not?

There was a grandparent taking a child in front of us at the weekend. Said child was screaming the place down and grandparent didn’t know what to do for the best. I’d only let them if you are confident the child will comply. There was a form to sign with your relationship to child so not sure on who is allowed to sign though.

I'm a nanny and I've taken lots of children for vaccinations over the years. You will need to give the grandparent a signed letter of consent to pass onto the nurse, once or twice the nurse has called the parent to double check before giving the vaccines.

Ah great - No, no screaming anticipated, DD is happy to have it ,I am just struggling with logistics to get it done and am sure mum will help :-).

Not thought about a letter of consent, good point!
