If you are testing negative but your partner has covid, what are you doing?
DH has covid but me and DD are both negative and both feel fine. DD has SEN and struggles with change in routine so I really don't like to keep her off school. I know you don't need to isolate anymore, but it feels a bit irresponsible to send her if she could be coming down with it and spread it to the other children and staff at school. What do people think?

Send her in if she’s feeling well.

Carry on as normal.

Unless she tests positive, if you choose to test her as gov guidance is not to test under 18s anymore but i think many people still are including myself, then she should go to school as normal and you carry on with life as normal.

I have it now and will test the kids on Monday and if negative they'll be going in. I know it feels wrong after the last few years isolating, but it's the guidance now and probably more than a lot of people are doing (I know many aren't testing now at all)

We've lived normally.

DH seems to be holding up from being infected in March as he was away with work and car sharing long journeys with a colleague who tested positive the same day as me, and dodged it at a "super-spreader" event before coming home and sharing the bed with me.

I just swerved going indoors anywhere public until I felt more human so dropped DCs off at the door for their activities rather than going in.

DS1 has never tested positive or been symptomatic with other household members, DS2 also had it in March. He was exposed in the same place as me this time. Neither showed any symptoms so business as usual for them.
