Covid in toddlers

DS has just turned 3 and myself and DH have had covid for 3/4 days now.
Up till this morning DS has been fine but has woken up saying he needs to go to the toilet but can't go, is now saying his tummy hurts and has a slight fever 37.8-38 depending on what he's been doing. He's curled up on the sofa so he is defo not right but we cannot test him as it causes him more distress than us and chances are he'd be positive!

What were the symptoms when your younger children went down with it. I'm concerned about this tummy pain and the fact he cannot go to the toilet (although did go twice yesterday so not concerned there is a blockage). He's refused his breakfast this morning and only having occasional sips of water. He is refusing calpol

Do I need to call anyone yet or is this normal - full disclosure yes he's my first born and has only ever been poorly twice since he was born so we don't have an awful lot of experience

We had it in early February, including my 3 year old, he had vomiting, diarrhea, a cough and fever for about 24 hours, after that he was back to normal. He was unwell for about a day, the rest of us unwell for about 2 weeks although all our symptoms were completely different. My son refused food the whole time he was sick, I had to give calpol syringes of water and orange juice just to get fluids into him.

My toddler (2 yo) off food, vomiting, high temperature, short bursts of being ok. She would take calpol though.

As long as he is taking in fluids don't worry too much about food. Ice lollies are a good way to get the fluids in if he likes them.

My three year old just had it.
Main concern was she didn't want to drink so had friend drop round ice lollies and go crazy on those. She was tired, sooo tired and off her usual food- said it tasted funny, and had a temperature for about two days.
Apart from that she was fine. But just make sure they keep getting fluids in them somehow.

He's very tired. Keeps going off but alert when awake and wakes easily so not too concerned (also had a disrupted week of sleep so that can't help)

Temp is resting at 38.4 which isn't great but not sure if it's too high? He's drinking sips here and there and still weeing so I'm hoping that means he's not dehydrated yet
