Hi,
First off, I do have a GP appointment after much procrastination. Have terrible health anxiety, which is through the roof right now! Dd and dp are also both ill, but with different things. Under investigation.
I had covid around 2 months ago. Symptoms were bad cough, headache, general fatigue and grogginess. I did notice a bit of blood when coughing once, after about a week of being diagnosed, but was coughing A LOT. Anyway, recovered reasonably quickly, but then caught a really horrible cough/cold. Felt very similar to covid. Really set me back.
Anyway, a couple of weeks after that, thinking I was fully recovered, I started getting this weird, irritated, almost mentholy feeling in my lungs. Not particularly tight or painful, just a bit raw I suppose. No real cough. Maybe a tiny bit, but not enough to trigger irritated lungs. Also have this sensation of pressure in my throat and a bit in my chest. Like my food hasn't gone down properly, but isn't after eating specifically. Also feels a bit like trapped air. It's not constant, but goes up and down throughout the day. Seems to get worse with stress.
I assumed that long covid would be a continuous thing from when you first had it, but after a bit of Googling, apparently symptoms can be quite intermittent.
Of course I'm panicking it's something awful, but desperately trying to put my mind at rest.
Any thoughts?
