I had covid in February, still fatigued, how much longer?

I know no one can really give me an answer, I'm just feeling a bit sorry for myself and looking for others experiences. I'm just bloody knackered since having covid in February. I'm not normally a coffee drinker but really need it now to get through the day. I'm struggling at work and when playing with my toddler (but really try to be engaging and present with him).

How long will this last? Is there anything I can do?

No one really know how it will affect you or for how long for. That's why it's called long covid.

Go and see your gp. There are clinics you can be referred to.

Sorry you feel rubbish.

Sorry to hear you're still feeling rough months after having covid - it's awful. I posted something similar a few days ago asking how long till I feel better, but I only tested positive a couple of weeks ago! As you say, you just want to hear other people's experiences of covid and their recovery, as I did. Either to give you a bit of hope or an idea of how long this will last for!

How far are you from what you consider normal for you? Would you say you're 50% back to normal, or less than that? As @RuthW suggests, perhaps a visit to the GP might be in order, in case there's something lingering that can be addressed?

I'm in the same position. GP has suggested trying magnesium and vitamin D. Will refer me on to the covid clinic in a month if not showing improvement.

I’m the same, and since Feb half term. Painful

I had covid Oct 2020, still breathless walking up 3 flights of stairs at work, used to go to bed around 11 now I'm lucky if I'm still awake by 9.30

I’m in bed as I had a day out (gentle walk around a national trust place) yesterday. I had covid in September. I’m slowly getting better, but it really is a long process.
