Is there any way my child could have caught it again ?

Two weekends ago they started feeling unwell and was positive by Monday lunchtime.

Today child feeling exactly the same again, negative for now but I'm suspicious. Two kids on the same table at school were positive last week up to Friday.

🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

OP yes it’s possible. Your dc may need more rest as his immune system may not quite have recovered even if it seemed so on the outside.

I tested positive two weeks ago and even now I’m not right. I get tired easily, I’ve not been able to work or exercise properly - and I’m only 40, slim, healthy, exercise regularly and now I’m a bit broken by it!

My ds also had it and I’m worried as he’s gone back to school seemingly ok but I kind of want him to rest for longer because of the longer term risks. Luckily it’s Easter soon!

They would be very unlucky but it is possible.

Could also be run down and have caught a different bug.

Could still be suffering from
Original infection as well or another bug as immune system is low
I caught a bad cold about 4 weeks after covid ( actually felt worse than when I had covid ) i assume was a cold anyway and just stayed home until I felt better which was about 5 days . Had to go to a&e unexpectedly had negative LFT and they did pCR which i assume must also of been negative as i wasn't informed otherwise
Its hard to know

We has a short lived flare up at that time - a few more days rest and he was ok. Stayed negative. But reinfection is also possible
