Travel to Italy unvaccinated 10 year old

I’m travelling to Italy by car at Easter with my unvaccinated 10 year old and trying to work out the best way to get across the Swiss/Italian boarder. (The rest of us are all vaccinated and over 12 so no issues). I’d prefer to use a proof of recovery (positive in December) but I’m not sure if the private certificates you buy on the internet will be accepted. They next option is to get a fit to fly PCR but again I’m not sure if this would be accepted by the Italian boarder police. Any advice would be much appreciated!!

It looks like guidance is changing frequently for european travel.

He will just need a negative PCR or lateral flow

A PCR is fine for the unvaccinated child.
The only legislation announced the other day that's coming in at the beginning of April that will be relevant for tourists is the abolition of the Super Green Pass (vaccination or recovery only) to eat at restaurant tables outside.

Fit to fly lateral flow is fine. You can't get certificates of recovery for under 12s unfortunately. I looked into it for my ds.

LTF can’t be older than 24 hours!

LTF can’t be older than 24 hours!

It's 48 hours for LTF and 72 for PCR
