How long did the exhaustion last for you?

Symptoms started over 2 weeks ago and tested positive a couple of days later. Had a rough few days and then started to gradually start feeling better. Was back in work for a couple of days at the end of last week and since I've come home on Friday evening, the exhaustion has been unreal. I could literally just stay in bed all day.

Forced myself to get up and take my daughter out to something she'd been looking forward to yesterday for a couple of hours, but other than that I'm trying to rest and let DH take care of the kids this weekend as he'll be back to work tomorrow and everything will fall back to me. I'm dreading it. How long is this going to last??

Maybe a couple more weeks?

I’ve had Covid similar timeline to you. Hoping to work tomorrow, sitting on sofa today: still have cough/chest infection

I’m taking vit d, b complex and iron plus eating more protein and carbs for the energy

Friends have also said v tired for a few weeks after (we are all early/mid 40s and 3 x vaccinated)

I think is what Covid is unfortunately, the ‘just a cold’ people are the lucky ones!

Two weeks of mild but definitely there fatigue for me. Another friend had six weeks of considerable exhaustion and another four weeks of milder fatigue before she was truly recovered. It's very variable and I really sympathise.

It's really horrible, and I thought I was getting better last week but the couple of days in work has completely taken it out of me.

Think I'm dehydrated too, my lips are really dry, going to try and get lots of fluids into me today and dig out the vitamins. Not sure I can cope with a few more weeks of this when I have 2 young kids and work (part time thankfully)

Sorry OP but it was a good 3-4 weeks for me too (after all the other symptoms had gone). It’s definitely worth planning in as much sleep and rest as you can. I was wiped out by a full day at work for about 2 weeks, then ‘more knackered than normal’ for another 1-2.
