Travelling to Florida, can anyone shed some light on this?

My mum has asked me for help with this.

So she's going to Florida fairly soon. She's utterly confused about what kind of Covid tests to take pre departure and also what the American airports will require.

I've looked online, on the gov site etc and am feeling overwhelmed with the info, links etc, different tests, payment info etc.

So what I can see is she needs to take a PCR test 24 hours before arrival in the US?
And it needs to be negative obviously.
Where do you get these done?

Also upon arrival in Florida does she need to test negative again at the airport?

She's tripled vaccinated and has a NHS covid pass on her phone.

Any advice gratefully received. Thank you!

I'm not going to Florida till the summer so have only vaguely looked at this. But as far as I can see- you need a test within 24 hours before you go. This can be pcr or lft. If lft it will have to be supervised but you can make a phone appointment to do this and they will watch you by video call. Or you can do at airport depending on the time of your flight. This will be my plan if possible. Then by my reading I think you are OK on arrival if triple vax and negative test pre flight. You are "advised" to get a test within 3-4 days but don't have to. I think this can be done by appointment at a lot of pharmacies in the area in Florida (I'm going to have to sort this for ds as he is 8 but I think for vax adults you dont have to)
Try looking at the Web page of the holiday or airline she had booked with. This may recommend companies to do pre flight test with. The companies should tell you on website if the test they are offering is suitable for flight to USA.
