Tested positive - Day 7 now. Unsure if this is just to be expected or maybe I should get some medical advice. Not in an area with 111 unfortunately.
Have experienced pretty much every symptom continuous cough deep and chesty, sore throat, high temperature, headaches, body aches, loss of taste and smell.
In the initial days the cough was very severe and my chest felt tight especially when walking a few steps and some mild breathlessness on walking - SPO2 was normal, heartrate significantly raised.
Felt some small improvements over day 5 and day 6 but a decline again today, dull pain in upper back - lungs area constant and doesn't seem to improve with rest can sometimes be sharper but not consistently so and have developed vomiting and diarrhoea but no new fever.

Young, no underlying health conditions and fully vaccinated.

Has anyone experienced similar over the normal course of covid?

Sorry, not very well informed to give advice but sorry you're so poorly. It's such a random thing. I barely registered it when I had it

Just to suggest, have you got an oximeter? Sounds like it would be worth keeping an eye on your oxygen levels and if they start to drop then I would definitely seek medical advice.

Hope you're feeling better soon.

Think I'd phone Dr tomorrow if feeling same OP. I had all same of your initial symptoms but no V&D. I really feel for you. I had covid back in July 21 and it was horrible, still struggling with long covid. Please try and rest as much as possible. Really hope you feel better asap Flowers

Oxygen levels normal for now but I will keep an eye.

So sorry to hear you are suffering long covid. Resting constantly as I can't muster up any strength to do anything else, walking to the toilet feels like a day out hiking!

I'm not sure it is worth ringing the GP as they can't really do anything.
I would just carry on fluids, paracetamol, etc
I am on day 8 and this has probably been my worst day with sore throat, tight chest and cough

I'm day 7 now too and have had similar sounding symptoms to yours. It's rubbish isn't it? I had the D&V in the 1st couple of days, followed by sore throat, cough etc. Thought I was feeling better yesterday, having a bit of a slump today. Every time I get out of bed I feel wobbly and tearful. I also have the upper back ache if I stand up for too long.

I guess you could call GP for reassurance but not sure they can do much. I'm fed up of hearing how it's just like a cold etc etc. I feel properly ill. I'm also triple jabbed
