Hi,

I have always done lateral flow tests but never reported probably didn't think I had to.
Does anyone else do the these and not report it. I got my 7 day negative and forgot to report.

OP posts:

Ck2992 · 13/01/2022 20:31

I've never thought to report them tbh.

FindingMeno · 13/01/2022 20:32

Never reported one and don't know how.

givememykeys · 13/01/2022 20:42

Yes, I believe you are the only person not reporting negative tests Grin

Seriously though of course you aren't, some will some won't.

megletthesecond · 13/01/2022 21:19

I've always reported ours.

luckylavender · 13/01/2022 21:22

I always report them.

Wilkolampshade · 13/01/2022 21:24

Nope, never reported.

Angel2702 · 13/01/2022 21:28

Always reported ours as have to report the ones for school so do it all at the same time, everyone’s on one account with details pre-saved.

JanglyBeads · 13/01/2022 21:37

Millions aren't reporting them, this is known by the government, because only something like twenty percent of the tests they've given out have ever had results reported for them.

LethargicActress · 13/01/2022 21:41

Don’t worry about it, it will make no difference. I don’t think I know anyone that’s reporting the results.

BreakingGood45 · 13/01/2022 21:44

I work at a junior school and we have to test every couple of days and report our results both directly to the school and on the nhs site.

Buzzinwithbez · 13/01/2022 21:57

I've very reluctantly reported them to attend an event, but otherwise no. Why would I?

DerektheGoose · 13/01/2022 22:07

Nope you're not the only one.

JanglyBeads · 13/01/2022 22:45

Am interested by those who say it's never occurred to them. You must have the read the test kit instructions at some point - the prices is supposed to include reporting them?

Having said that, I gave up reporting negatives six months ago! Apart from my DS's recent day 6/7 negatives: I ensured that I logged those, cos it made them "official". No text back confirming he was released from isolation though, which I thought was a bit disappointing!

MadeForThis · 13/01/2022 22:53

Never have but they have always been negative. I would report a positive. Especially now we don't do PCR tests

Not fully, no. I skimmed the instructions enough to be able to carry out the test correctly.
I was told by someone giving out a pack that I was supposed to report them and she was horrified that I hadn't seen the announcements about it on the telly. So I guess I was aware, but I felt the questions asked to be able to report tests for attending events were overly intrusive, so kept my reporting to just that handful of times.

theemperorhasnoclothes · 13/01/2022 23:52

I don't always report negative tests any more. We're constantly doing them and I got pissed off by how long it was taking, how often the website crashed and the annoying email they sent me afterwards - yes, I do know the lat flow was negative given that I did it myself.... I couldn't see the point. I would report a positive of course.

shinynewapple22 · 14/01/2022 00:29

I've reported most of the ones I've done for visiting my mum as there is an ID number linked to her care home . I've never reported any I've done for meeting other friends or family .
