Hi everyone would appreciate some advice as my heads a little battered at the moment.

DH tested postive last Tuesday, still showing symptoms and is isolating in the spare room.

DD 6 months was unwell and in hospital Sun-Tues. She tested postive for covid Monday and also has bronchiolitis

I have a runny nose and tested positive this morning (previously negative).

Trying to stay in the bedroom however need to potter around the hosue to make bottles/see to dogs etc

My questions are:

Should i wear a mask around dd even though we both have it?

Should DH isolate until we are no longer contagious?

DD2 is testing negative however would she be better in her room until we're better?

I did speak to the doctor but they weren't very clear.

Thanks in advance.

Wouldn’t bother wearing a mask around the 6mo given you’re both positive.

How old is DD2?

Thank you for replying!

DD1 is 13, she's also autistic and quite scared of catching covid due to no school etc.

I think at 13 I’d let her make the decision on it, if she’d feel happier staying away from positive people in house for 7-10 days (and if you’re confident she’d be mentally ok and able to look after herself).

The three of you that have it might as well mingle.

I'm afraid only you can answer the question about your DD13. What's worse for her? Isolating until your DH gets a negative or risking infection and missing school but having company.

When I had it, I tried to make sure all windows and doors were open despite it being cold and I avoided being right in their faces. DH remained negative though, so they always had someone.

Thank you for your advice everyone!

Yes it seems the three of us may aswell just mingle together.

As for DD1 (she's 13) will test her when she's home then go from there. Will suggests she stays in her room as much as possible - shouldn't be too hard for a teenager!

Unless you've been isolating from older DD for a few days now you're positive, she's potentially already picked it up from you. Is she vaccinated?

Me and 4year old are positive, hubby, 13yo & 15yo are negative. Our house is far too small for us to isolate anywhere 🤷🏼‍♀️
