Help me through covid with 2 young children

I've tested positive for covid this morning. Feeling rough, headache, soar throat, aching all over and so tired. Only problem is I have 2 DC, 16 months and 4. Not showing any signs of illness yet themselves but require constant attention. DH is negative so far but working from home. I've called in sick for the week as cannot work, be ill and look after kids.
How do I keep the kids happy, we're not even a day in and everyone's arguing, lots of tantrums and so much TV. I'm panicking because if kids aren't positive now and test positive near the end of isolation I still won't be able to return to work. This could go on for weeks before its gone through the whole household. Those with omicron how long did it take for the whole house to test positive?

4 days from the 1st person testing positive to the last. But I’ve heard of people not catching it who live in the same household.

Never did. Positive 1st Jan and they're all still negative.
Friend was positive a few days before me and its gone through her family with the last going positive yesterday so maybe 11days?

Can DH work downstairs or have a few half days off? Make sure he walks them at least once a, day. Plenty of TV and easy lunches. Get him to cook and grab a nap whenever you can

I feel your pain. I tested positive Saturday, after 2 out of 3 kids tested positive. My dog even now has corona and has been vomiting a few times (of course always on the carpet!). My youngest is 2. The kids do not show symptoms. My dh is fine. I am the only one who has had symptoms. It is like a cold flu for me. Sucks being sick when you have young kids....the worst!

I allow mine to watch tv from 1pm. Still waiting for the school to send school work. Once they send, will turn the tv off.

They're all having a pcr this afternoon but if they come back negative they can't really go out as I can't isolate from them so they could have then picked it up at any point. Although it is rife where I live so if they don't get it from me they are still likely to come into contact with it. I don't think my 4 year old will allow me to daily test him.

So officially partner doesn't if he's jabbed, and kids under 5 I think. So a walk round the estate, to a field for a run will be fine and legal.

Dh came down with it and myself and 4dc (7,6,4 & 2 had all come down with it within 3-4 days. The youngest two were the last. We both felt awful and 12 days on today is first day of feeling better. Kids have watched a lot of Disney, played a few easy games and weathered the storm with lots of squabbling.

Legally under 5s don't need to daily lft, my 4yo screams and cries so has been going to school regardless. My DH and 7yo are still negative, so 7yo going to school but not clubs. I had positive lft on Sunday and noone else positive yet. School is rife, they've given up putting out messages unless you're close contact as was going out daily.
