There's been an outbreak at my kids school. Quite a few in my youngest class have it right now.

My kids had covid in December. It's been about 3.5 weeks since they tested positive. They hadn't been in schools days before they tested positive as me and dp both had it and they were isolating with us. Not that is really relevant to this. But they didn't spread it at the time.

Anyway, I would say over a third of Dd's class have it after the first week back. Plus some that might not be reported yet, plus some parents keeping their kids off even if negative to avoid it.

Mine are absolutely going in until they cannot - either they get it again or the classes shut. I cannot have them off again unless they have to be.

In December DS was poorly for one day, Dd was asymptomatic apart from slight tiredness and feeling clammy for one day. I don't feel they are in any danger.

Hopefully they won't get it again. But if they do it will be minimal symptoms.

They already missed the last 2 weeks before Christmas. They need to be in if they can be.

Feel like it will only be a few in DD's in tomorrow mixed in with those kept off as precaution.

I've also done an lft on dd which is negative.
