My whole family has covid. Positive PCRs on the 31st following LFT positives on the 30th. Symptoms started in the 29th. Everything I read seems to suggest that the omicron variant (which I suspect thus is) is mild and short-lived. It has been relatively mild but I still have a really sore throat, muscle aches and exhaustion (needing to nap several times throughout the day. I’m double vaccinated and had my booster just over two weeks before coming into contact with the virus.

I’ve just wrote a similar thread (didn’t see yours or I’d have not posted). Most of my colleagues felt better pretty quick with the odd ones taking 6-7 days! I’m praying mine is the latter! Hope you feel better soon x

it took 7 days for me.
days 3 and 4 were my worst days.
slight imporovements from day 5, much better by day 7.

Felt almost back to normal on day 4, did too much (bit of light housework etc) and was back on the sofa day 5. Felt almost back to normal, just a bit tired on day 7. Day 8 awful debilitating headache and sinus pain. Thought I'd start WFH but unable to. Day 9 and the headache is still there. LFT still a faint positive, so will have to do full 10 days isolation. I think I'll feel so much better when I can get out for a short walk
