Internal vibration

I've mentioned this on another thread but thought I'd be more specific as I'm quite bothered by it.
I'm on day 10 and while I'm getting better every day I still have this weird feeling wash over me. It's like internal shaking or vibration, I feel weak with it but it passes. It terrifies me. I check my oxygen levels and heart rate and they are fine. Please tell me others feel this way.

When I had covid and for months afterwards I got this kind of fizzing feeling in my legs. It didn’t affect me as much as your symptoms seem to affect you, but it was odd and disconcerting.

@Largethighsbadeyes

I have this during periods of high anxiety

Me too.

I get this but it started before covid.
Feels like a buzzing vibration in my chest butmy heart rate is normal. Mostly happens at night and can wake me up over and over on a bad night.

I got that feeling of my heart skipping a beat or dropping off a cliff lots when I had Delta in early November. Mostly happened just as I was drifting off to sleep. Some nights it happened over and over again. I barely slept for a week.

Thanks all, I really appreciate you all taking time to reply. Seems there could be many reasons for it, maybe I'll up the vitamins to see if that helps and wait to see if it goes away after covid. Flowers for you all.

Covid March 2020 then long covid, very much like you described, a feeling of fast internal shaking that was not visible and feeling ill like when you have not eaten and blood sugar drops. Also a feeling of anxiety in the pit of my stomach rising like the beginning of a panic attack.

Exactly like this

All of this is so similar to what I get, in fact after a few great months of peace from it I've had a recent flare.
Mine was caused by damage from a medication a few years ago, really weird and interesting (and obviously horrible for those affected) that covid can cause it too.

SonicBroom · 04/01/2022 23:11

Interesting, I had a couple of episodes last year and remember them being really worrying, like a really loud electrical buzz inside my head near my ear. Quite scary. I had a lot of weird symptoms at the time and wondered if I had covid but there were hardly any tests… I tested antibodies but not until about 9m later

MsMeNz · 04/01/2022 23:26

I've had this before but not with covid freaked me out it's like you can't see it on the outside so much but on inside vibrating. Could never get to bottom of it I suspect anxiety related or maybe low on some electrolyte Bor something. No harm ever came from it disappeared by its self etc after time passed

'Lhermittes' sign' is a neurological phenomenon associated with MS and other common diseases like Guillain-Barre syndrome. It causes 'electric shock' like symptoms across the body. I'm not sure if Covid can cause this, and/or if it does, it is transient.
