Just that really.. I had planned to have the booster but hadn't got round to it, and have now tested positive. So can I now consider myself to now be naturally "boosted" .. ?

Not sure. I haven't had my booster yet. I had Covid in August and my second vaccine in September. I do antibody tests monthly as part of the ONS study and my most recent one (done on 23rd of December) shows that I still have antibodies. I will get boostered as I think it will probably end up being a requirement for travel and other things but I think I'll leave it for a few more weeks.

The only issue is travel.

But I’ve read vaccination plus natural infection provides the best, longer lasting immunity. Boosters do wear off quite quickly - 10 weeks for symptomatic protection. I’ve just had Covid. In an ideal world I’d like to wait and maybe have a booster next autumn. But I have holidays booked so need to see if I need all 3.

If I hadn’t had Covid I would have had my booster in a shot.

I'm triple jabbed and currently have Covid for the second time! (Omicron)

It's quite mild - feels like a moderate cold - but definite. So, no.

My antibodies must be through the roof and I'm still unwell. Get boostered when you can. And feel better soon! ❤️

You can have an antibody test which gives levels for both antibodies to the vaccines and to a natural infection of Covid e.g. here: monitormyhealth.org.uk/#viewOurTests. I am going to do this at around 6 weeks and then 12 weeks post infection. There is a great Facebook page which looks at antibody levels and what they actually mean here: www.facebook.com/nerdnodeoftrust/

Yes there's research that suggests that vaccination and natural infection provides a better longer lasting immunity than the boosters.

Remember the boosters are just original vaccines targeting the original Alpha variant
