So, as title suggests I started with symptoms on the 8th of December. Had it fairly mildly (although still floored me some days) cough, fatigue, loss of smell/taste and nausea but had all resolved by the 18th and tested negative on lateral flow.
Anyway, other than a little tiredness I've been doing OK. However, on the 22nd I started with what I thought was symptoms of a UTI. The nurse prescribed Trimethoprim while waiting for sample results. I started them on the 23rd and on the 24th I was vomiting and by Xmas day I was also violently shaking. I was so, so scared. I called 111 and the doctor checked my urine results and they were actually clear of infection (which is fine because now I just think I was very dehydrated from not doing too well with fluids). He told me to stop Trimethoprim and to collect an anti sickness tablet from the pharmacy.
I spent Xmas day in bed. Thankfully I have a wonderful partner who took care of the dinner and family! Boxing day I felt much better and today I feel fine.
But, I have really tingly legs/knees. I suppose my question is has anyone else experienced this and it be part of covid or is this something I should be more concerned about. My feet are also freezing! The leg/knee thing started yesterday (27th) and I'm so paranoid about EVERYTHING just lately. My health anxiety is through the roof and I keep coming back to MS.
I suppose what I'm looking for is reassurance that others have felt this and its just part of the recovery process.... I know in the grand scheme of things I am massively overreacting and it could resolve in a few days. No other tingling or nerve sensations. Had a cluster headache earlier which has since gone once aunt flo turned up.
Also, vitamin recommendations to help recovery would be good.
