Another side effects post booster bread... Sorry

Hi. Basically I had my booster on 23rd November (NHS healthcare scientist staff so earlier access). I've had three lots of Pfizer now. Absolutely no side effects whatsoever for the first two- I barely felt the needle and thought they'd injected saline ...

Basically since the booster I've been short of breath- and stupidly it's taken until now for me to link the two....

It feels like the very bottom of my throat is incredibly tight, if I take a deep breath it makes me cough and if I exert myself I'm gasping for breath. I'm prone to episodes of random palpitations (I have PSVT) so haven't thought much of having palpitations but they have increased in frequency (usually 1 episode every few months, I've had about 5 episodes of them since the booster). Because I felt absolutely fine post first and second jab it's taken me ages to even consider that this is connected so I feel properly stupid. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I've felt that crappy with the breathing that I've had two (negative) PCRs, took a third today and have done at least 15 LFTs that have all been negative.

My question is would you bother your GP with this? All of the stuff I've read says side effects are mild and usually self resolving but it's been four weeks of this breathlessness now. I feel crap. Exhausted, tight chest and generally off. At the same time I don't want to add to the workload if it's totally pointless or if they're going to think I'm some sort of hypochondriac (I'm not- just dense apparently). 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

Yes, see your GP.

The NHS website says that breathlessness which lasts over 4 weeks, or which worsens with activity or when you lie down, or you have also been coughing, or if you have swollen ankles, then you should see your GP. Even without the other symptoms, this has been going on for long enough that you should be seen.

Mention the timing of your vaccine, and consider making your own report to the Yellow Card scheme
