Over the last 20 months or so I have mostly followed the rules and risk assessed most social situations to keep myself and others safe. I feel now it’s Groundhog Day and I am literally just dodging covid, but will get it at some point.

I live alone and work for nhs. My family live abroad for 9 months a year. First lockdown spent most of it working so I could get social interaction. Bubbled up with my best friend in July 2021, which helped massively. When shops opened and we could met more people spent a lot of time outside socialising, but safely.

Last December lockdown was hard. My friend and I ended up including another recently single friend in our bubble, as all our mental health was suffering with limited interaction. We felt safe and was honest if we were putting each other at risk. It was also hard not seeing friends that live jn Scotland or other places. Zoom can only do so much.

I have had my 3 injections. Wore my mask and generally stayed away from big crowds or what I felt were risky situations. Isolated when been in close contact - thankfully not had covid.

Life came off pause in autumn and I felt I was back to normality. Now this close to Christmas I feel burnt out with having to through this again. My family have come back to the uk for a few months but Scotland has now put a limit on households, so my Christmas which I was looking forward to is restricted.

So now I conclude with the massive rise in cases it is only a matter of time till I get covid.

Suppose not too sure what this post means, but I am burnt out having to do this all over again!
