Do you make family members who test positive isolate in an area of the house?

Just wondering if anyone would do this?

We asked DS 19 to stay in his room and use the family bathroom (we have an en suite). I took all his meals, snacks etc up on a tray. He loved being waited on!

Neither DH nor I caught it.

Isolating from each other wouldn’t be an option for us, but we do have a CO2 monitor and keep the place very well ventilated whenever we’ve got a possible case in the house.

We didn't/aren't doing now (2nd time with covid) the first time I got it first and by that evening everyone else tested positive anyway this time just my son has it and it's bad enough we've had to cancel our Christmas plans I wouldn't have the heart to make him be on his own...... and the house isn't suitable for it, all plans cancelled anyway so if we get it, we get it.

Absolutely not. My DC is currently positive and he's getting all the kisses and cuddles he needs. It would be cruel not to.
