I have my booster today but husband has tested positive - should I still get it?

As the title. I assume it’s fine to get it, but can’t find anything online.

He’s positive but I’m negative. Is there any additional risk getting the booster given it’s quite likely I’ll get it too?

I wouldn't.
If you come down with Covid j I'm n a few days s as nd have just had your booster surely it could overwhelm your immune system?
Otherwise why would they say to wait 28 days or whatever it is after you've had Covid to get booster

I would go and ask the advice of the HCP.

Well there's always been different rules, I'm sure most of the reasons are purely political. It's so hard to keep up with them all when the "national" talks about England as default.

What do you think the booster does? Confused

It’s best not to have a booster if you have got confirmed covid because it’s harder to tell what’s covid and what’s vaccine side effects.

The green book guidance which all vaccination centres should be following covers this on p30 under “precautions”. It explicitly says that vaccination while you’re asymptomatic or incubating covid isn’t likely to have any detrimental effect on the illness.

As long as you’re following your local isolation rules, there’s no reason to delay your booster.
