All take pcr, siblings go to school unless or until positive test result.

iamtheoneandonlyyy · 11/11/2021 07:57

And that's the actual current guidelines or just common sense?

www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-stay-at-home-guidance/stay-at-home-guidance-for-households-with-possible-coronavirus-covid-19-infection

Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms or a positive test result should stay at home and self-isolate immediately. If you have symptoms of COVID-19, you should arrange to have a PCR test as soon as possible. This still applies even if you have received one or more doses of COVID-19 vaccine.
If you live in the same household as someone with COVID-19, you should stay at home and self-isolate. If you are fully vaccinated or aged under 18 years and 6 months you are not required to self-isolate if you are a contact of someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

You can find the official guidelines easily using google. They’re clearly written and easy to understand.

The precise answer to this depends on where in the uk you are.

iamtheoneandonlyyy · 11/11/2021 08:16

Yes I'm aware of google thank you lol Smile

I don’t get it then. Can’t you find the guidelines you need? Confused

iamtheoneandonlyyy · 11/11/2021 08:38

It's ok you don't have to 'get it' it was just a question. But thank you for replying Smile

Where in the uk are you so I can google the right answer for you?

@iamtheoneandonlyyy

Depends how you want to deal with it. In my opinion:

Official guidance - they don’t need to isolate.
Common Sense - keep them at home to stop the risk of spreading.

I currently have COVID. DS is at college (16), testing negative on LFT's and no symptoms so he's going in every day.
