I posted mine on at about 11 am on Saturday morning (priority box) and got a text and email at about 9 am on Sunday.

PurpleDaisies · 11/11/2021 08:24

The last one I did-test 9am, results 1030pm.

beenrumbled · 11/11/2021 08:24

Both DH and DS1 have had theirs back within 24 hours - tested 9 am got results by 7am the next day.

Hellohah · 11/11/2021 08:25

I did one last week at about 12.45. Got my results at 21.15

bumblefeline · 11/11/2021 08:25

DH tested at 10am yesterday back about 6am this morning.

Landof · 11/11/2021 10:03

Dc tested at 5.30 on Tuesday evening and I tested at 5.30 the same night.

Both results arrived at 7.15am the next morning.

We’re in south wales

Muchtoomuchtodo · 11/11/2021 10:07

Sorry, my test was an hour later at 6.30pm

bootsandcats · 11/11/2021 10:08

Our last 3 have been back within 16 hours

3cats4poniesandababy · 11/11/2021 10:08

My husbands done at a centre came back within 24hours. Mine via post we are still waiting for. Posted Tuesday before last post in a priority box. Now Thursday morning and still waiting for the results.

JTTWC · 11/11/2021 12:43

I did a home PCR on Tuesday for my son (sent on the same day, probably picked up about 4:30pm) still no result. I went to a drive through test site yesterday at 2:30pm still no results. From what I’ve read and heard everyone is getting them back so quick. Not me unfortunately! In the South East.

FirewomanSam · 11/11/2021 14:00

Tested at 4pm at the walk-in centre, result (positive Sad) back at 4pm the next day. Very impressed!

Tinysnickers · 11/11/2021 14:14

Last one we did for my DD was 2 weeks ago, took 3.5 days and I had to chase it twice.

Landof · 11/11/2021 16:14

@3cats4poniesandababy I hope you have heard back now?

@Tinysnickers wow that is a long time! I havent heard of it taking that long since last year.

Reading this I'm hopeful mine will be back in the morning then.

Blimey. Some of these are awful. We have a low threshold for testing i think but if we were all stuck at home for 3 1/2 days every time someone got tested I might not be so quick to get it done.

Muchtoomuchtodo · 11/11/2021 17:00

Let me add to that that every test we’ve had done has been negative.

GoldenOmber · 11/11/2021 17:02

Postal one sent off Tuesday afternoon, postbox collection 4pm, arrived at the lab around 11pm, results 1pm Wednesday.

Tinysnickers · 11/11/2021 17:26

One of DS last year took 6 days! But at that point they wouldn't chase it until 7 days had passed so nothing we could do. And that was when whole household had to isolate so we all spent half term stuck indoors for nothing Angry

nonowaynever · 11/11/2021 18:08

Posted my husband's at lunchtime on tuesday and he got his results yesterday about 2pm.

Posted mine at lunchtime yesterday and still waiting for mine :( I need to go out, we've run out of milk!

He's a keyworker and was positive if that makes a difference; I'm expecting to be negative.

WingingItSince1973 · 11/11/2021 18:25

Posted dgs home test Tuesday still waiting for results! He's year 2 and been off now all week. When I've had them done at the walk through centre the results are usually back within 24 hours.

Pushkinia · 11/11/2021 18:44

I had a test at a walk through centre yesterday at 2pm. My results came at 6.30pm today (negative) so about 28 hours.

MrsScrubbingbrush · 11/11/2021 19:16

DD2 & I went to a walk-in testing centre at about midday on Monday, the results (negative) were back by 6.30 am the next day.

sofakingcool · 11/11/2021 19:47

22 hours for DS a few weeks ago

MagicalFish · 11/11/2021 19:58

21 hours for us earlier this week

musicalfrog · 11/11/2021 20:07

These are quick. At what point can we now chase them up?
