Booster while still recovering post covid / with Long Covid?

Hi, my understanding is that you can have the booster a month after testing positive (assuming you are then 6 months post vaccine). I am struggling still 3 weeks after being infected and quite worried about Long Covid as I already had immune issues after a lyme infection that have impacted me for the last 8 years. I have read a few anecdotal mentions of the vaccine actually boosting the immune system so that for some it helps with existing symptoms? Has anyone found this? I am just worried about making things worse as I had a reaction to the first AZ jab.
Anyone have experiences of a follow up jab while still dealing with lingering symptoms? thanks

Hello, I don't think theres enough data yet for anyone to try and answer this.

One of Gez Medinger's recent films does touch on this and he drills down in to some interesting data. If you don't know who he is, he's a long covid sufferer who's been making critically revered films since March 2020.

I got a positive PCR on 5th October and was pretty rough (no serious symptoms though) for a few weeks. For the last week+ my only symptom has been a constant smell and taste of smoke. I got the booster jab Saturday just gone, felt tired and headachy on Sunday and now feel fine. Even the odd taste & smell has mellowed a bit.

My original 2 vaccinations were AZ. The booster was Pfizer. I didn't get much of a reaction to any of the jabs.

Thanks both, and for the link Telegram. Sounds like there is no way to know - could go either way !
