DP no symptoms but positive LFT and then posititve PCR yesterday so isolating in spare bedroom, hadn't seen him since Wed night due to shifts, i have had 3 negative LFT and kids are also negative. Track and trace called him and advised that i should have PCR which is booked for tomorrow , no mention of kids getting one. He then gets email stating whole household have to isolate for 10 days but website states if i am negative and double jabbed and no symptoms i do not have to.
Questions - if negative do i return to normal? and can kids go to school on Monday?
obviously going to ask at my test site tomorrow but is it only me this confuses.

I'm in Scotland so don't know if it's different. When I tested positive DH and dd tested negative. I didn't isolate myself from them for the 10 days in the house. DH went to work dd to school.

I'm equally confused.

I got pinged on 18/10. Negative.

DD 14 spent whole day with 2 friends who were positive 20/10. She got symptoms 27/10. The incubation seems to be longer than 7 days in my opinion.

Nothing for me from my ping.

I now feel like sitting duck to my DD. But it's okay, I can go to work (in a school) and DS who is 11 and no vaccine, can also go to school.

And DD is due her vaccine & flu at school the day she ends isolation.
I have no idea what to do.

You do not have to isolate in your circumstances OP.

From government website:

When you do not need to self-isolate

If someone you live with has symptoms of COVID-19, or has tested positive for COVID-19, you will not need to self-isolate if any of the following apply:

you're fully vaccinated – this means 14 days have passed since your final dose of a COVID-19 vaccine given by the NHS

you're under 18 years, 6 months old

you're taking part or have taken part in a COVID-19 vaccine trial

you're not able to get vaccinated for medical reasons
