So my three month old myself and my partner have tested positive for covid
Around Wednesday/ Thursday we noticed symptoms with my partner and then my daughter had a runny nose and just water for poo for at least a week now - then yesterday I started with symptoms so we all took tests today and they all come back positive- my partner is so very poorly. My baby has slept now only waking twice today for a bottle and back to sleep. She's had three bottles today usually has 7-8
She has 7ozs in each one - no temperature
Running nose a small cough very sleepy
I'm probably been paranoid but I don't really know what to look out for in a baby
My heads banging and I can't think straight
Any advice x

I'd try to give more milk, even if she'll drink it whilst sleeping. And as others have said, definitely get advice.
@PurpleDaisies That’s interesting. We are advised to tell patients to call 119. I’m a midwife. Pregnant women have extra surveillance put in place if they have Covid and we advise them 119 to arrange that. I will clarify this is correct.
Here is the nhs advice page for pregnant women.

www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/people-at-higher-risk/pregnancy-and-coronavirus/

It says…
If you're worried about your symptoms or not sure what to do, go to 111.nhs.uk or call 111.

Good advice. Everything crossed she’s sails through it OP 🤞

Yes this is exactly how my 2 month old was with covid - I ended up in A&E with him on the advice of 111 (despite having also tested positive), they said to dream feed as much as possible - just stick the bottle in and rub the cheeks to stimulate the sucking reflex (it was easier with bottle than breast for sure).
They called a paediatrician down who checked him over, said he was ok and told me the following things -

 1. Watching soft spot to see if it goes in
 2. Press two fingers (gently) firmly into their chest and watch how long it takes colour to go back to normal, if this is quick they’re ok but if slow it’s a worrying sign
 3. Sleeping through is normal for very small babies when unwell - check their startle reflex if concerned by clapping hard near their head, any movement is a good sign
 4. A baby when unwell will eat less, they need an absolute minimum of 1/3 their normal food intake when unwell so as long as they’re getting this much they will be ok

They also said day 3 and day 5 are usually the worst days in children with covid for some reason and he was right. Be ready, take care of you too and it’ll be ok.
I really hope this helps, it IS scarey.
