2 weeks after positive PCR- symptoms have returned

Has anyone else had this? I was a bit ill with covid, much more than I thought I would be being only late thirties, double jabbed and healthy, but not horrendous or hospitalised or anything. Anyway, after a week, apart from a few headaches and a slowly returning sense of taste and smell, I was OK.

It's now 2 weeks to the day from my positive PCR and body aches and pains have returned. I'm really disheartened as I thought it was over and had just started doing things again!

My muscles ache so much, even ones I'm not usually aware of.

Yeah, they do this. Sometimes for a few weeks, sometimes for months. Just try not to do to much because that can trigger another bout but you might find it's all a bit on and off for a while yet.

Not what you want to hear I am sure but I didn't have symptoms to day 7 and they are still coming in waves five weeks later! Take care

Ah, no! Thanks both for replying. I honestly thought I'd be one of those people who don't even know they have it- how wrong I was!

Yep, happened to me, had it in March 20, symptoms still going strong.

I'm sure I had it in March 2020. Obviously tests weren't available to the general public then, but I had exactly the same symptoms as those acquaintances had later and subsequently tested positive. I would have a cough for 1-2 days every 10 to 14 days for over 6 months after that.

With any luck the symptoms will only recur for a short period every so often and disappear in a few months' time. Crossed fingers for you.
