False negatives SW and 90 day PCRs rule

We were caught up in the false negatives scandal.
I had 2 false negatives and finally got a positive on a postal test.
My eldest had 2 false negatives. It was definitely covid because he had repeat positive LF. We never managed a positive PCR though.
We are now in the stupid situation that if eldest is asked to test as a close contact, or for travel, or anything else they will possibly show positive within 90 days from the previous infection, which we have no proof of.
And there are presumably 43,000 others also in this ridiculous situation.
What do we do? In an ideal world we simply avoid testing for 90 days but what if we can't? I don't want to end up with 10 days isolation from a historical infection that we can't prove. Angry

Anyone got any bright ideas?
