Passe sanitaire

Does anyone know how you prove a child under 16 has had Covid for a passe sanitaire when travelling to France. I have one child who is over 16 who has had Covid and has an NHS app so they should be straightforward enough but my DC2 is in the 12-15 age group that don't have an app so I've no idea how to prove they've already had Covid and I'd rather not pay for testing every couple of days if I don't have to because they've already had Covid. Many thanks

I don't think you can, families with 12 to 15yos have been royally shafted by this. You're going to have to shell out for testing or not go.

Would the results of their pcr test be enough? The ones that were emailed to you at the time?
I suppose they'd be too easy to fake though so might not be accepted.

I don't think you can, from reading the other threads specifically mentioning France.

If you read through this one, France for teens is mentioned.

In France they give you a "certificate" saying when the child had covid. It has to be less than 6 months old to be valid as à "passé sanitaire". You could try asking your GP to write you a letter.

Pretty sure GPs don't do that.

Proof of confirmed covid and recovery is in the NHS app, isn't it? It covers you for 180 days

Thank you, the thread that was referred to mentioned a GP linking a child's details to the parents on the NHS app so that might be one avenue I can look at.
