Taste dulled but not completely gone, anyone else?

So I'm day 4, I've noticed from this morning that things taste funny, so I can taste sweet and salty but that's it, no back ground taste iyswim ?

Fancy mango ice cream tastes like sugar just sugar. Main meal ( didn't eat much ) just tasted savoury, salty but bland.

Did anyone else have their taste just dulled rather than go completely? Or is it likely to go completely over the next few days?

I think I can still smell ok, up close to perfume bottles but maybe nothing unless I'm up close.

Yes me. I can’t smell a thing but my taste is just dulled. From days 2-8, I could only taste sweet or salty but not what the flavour was. From day 9 onwards, I’m starting to get more flavours back. Still not right though, couldn’t taste garlic bread yesterday. I could taste the saltiness & the bread but not the garlic! But I can taste chocolate & Diet Coke, so that’s a bonus 😂🙌🏼

My taste was dulled for a few days and certain things tasted very different - to the point that I really couldn't eat or drink certain things that I would usually enjoy.

It's back to normal now but I still can't smell anything at all.

Can't smell a thing. Taste is dulled, can taste salt, sweet and get sensations from spices. Salt, vinegar and brown sauce are my friends.😊

Everything just tasted unpleasantly wrong to me which was a shame because I was desperate to get rid of the horrible taste in my mouth. Tea was just "ugh!" Miso soup seemed to be my best hot drink option.

It came back in fits and starts.

I didn't mind losing smell as much, but it definitely went. It's pretty much back now, except I don't think I can smell gas any more. Which is slightly neurologically alarming.

My smell has gone completely. Yesterday I could smell perfume close up now I can't smell anything at all 😫
