Hello! to all the pregnant mums,

I've got my first covid-19 jab booked for this Friday! I'm currently 28 weeks pregnant and just wondering what pregnant women's side effects was as I'm quite nervous about having it but I know when I've had it I've made the correct choice Smile

I expect they will be the same as if you were vaccinated when not pregnant. Most commonly, sore arm, hard red hot lump at injection site, chills, tiredness, achy joints, general “under the weather” feeling.

First vaccine (not pregnant) I felt really tired, nauseous for 24 hours and sore arm for about a week.

Second vaccine (not pregnant) sore arm for 48 hours only.

Third vaccine today (pregnant, HCP so vaccinated very early on) so far just a sore arm and hoping it stays that way!

Only the same as everyone else. My pregnant friends mostly just had a sore arm or felt a bit grotty for a day or so.

I had no side effects at all.

I had a sore arm both times but no other side effects.

Sore arm on my first Pfizer jab, and absolutely nothing else for either jab

I had a sore arm for a couple of days after the first jab.

I had a slightly less sore arm for a day after the second jab.

The whooping cough vaccine was worse for me - my arm hurt for a whole week
