DD tested positive 12 days ago and so has completed her 10 days of isolation with her symptoms disappearing after a couple of days.
She's due to go to her Dad's tomorrow and he's asking her to do an LFT beforehand as his DM is vulnerable. My concern is that you're not recommended to take another PCR for 90 days after a positive result as it can show false positives but its not clear if you can take an LFT?
DD has returned to school without needing to do this which is wonderful as she definitely needed the social aspect and, I do believe, is well again. However, what if she shows as positive on the LFT? Or does it 'test' in a different way?
Sorry - I've tried to find guidance but not having much luck?
